Kosir's Whitewater Rafting runs guided Menominee River rafting trips from its Menominee River Outpost in Niagara, Wisconsin. Trips run from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend in 6- to 12-person self-bailing rafts, and helmets, life jackets, paddles and transport to the river are included. The route passes 200-foot cliffs and Sand Portage Falls before the Class IV Piers Gorge section, which opens with a 10-foot drop over Misicot Falls. Rafters must be at least 12 years old and 85 lbs, and reservations are required.
