Do You Drive the Dogs?

On most US first-timer dog-sled tours, you do not drive the team the whole way. The kennel’s musher commands the dogs, manages the brake, and sets the pace. You ride in the sled bag or share a short stretch on the runners only if that kennel offers it and you ask.

“Drive the dogs” is not the default product. Confirm what you booked: ride-along, co-mush segment, or a longer instructional day.

What “Co-Mush” Means
