Adirondack Snowmobile has led guided snowmobile tours around the Adirondack State Park since 1983, about five minutes from Main Street in Lake Placid. Group tours keep the number of sleds limited, with a front guide who runs faster for speed seekers and a back guide for riders who want a calmer pace. Younger guests ages 5 and up can drive size-appropriate snowmobiles behind a guide at no extra charge. Fuel for up to four hours and full-face DOT-approved helmets are included.
