The Jimmy Lane Surfing Academy is New Smyrna Beach's premier surf school, offering private lessons, spring and summer camps, and group lessons for all skill levels and ages. Owner Jimmy Lane, a former World Tour pro and competition judge, and his instructors teach paddling, wave riding, and ocean conditions. Established in 1985 and partnered with the City of New Smyrna Beach Leisure Services as its official summer surf camp for over 30 years. Camps and lessons meet at North Beach Community Park walkover on N Atlantic Ave.
