Lost World Caverns near Lewisburg takes visitors 120 feet below the surface into a vast cavern of stalactites and stalagmites. Discovered in 1942, it is open to explorers of all ages on self-guided tours along a half-mile loop that takes about 45 minutes. Information signs explain the formations along the trail. The cave stays a constant 52 degrees, so a light jacket and good shoes are recommended, and a Wild Cave Tour is also offered.
