Pro Drive has spent 30 years building its driving school in the Pacific Northwest and has been the official driving school at Portland International Raceway since 1987. PIR is a 1.97-mile permanent road course 3 miles north of downtown Portland. Drivers can learn car control and winter driving in a Pro Drive SkidCar, take their own car past the speed limit in the High Performance Driving Course, or drive a real race car in the Racing School. Race rentals put drivers in a Pro Drive Spec Racer Ford, and corporate SkidCar training is offered for employees.
