Wave Riding Vehicles Surf Camp was founded in 2001 by local surfers and offers summer camps plus year-round private lessons in Virginia Beach. Camps use soft surfboards, keep about a 1:4 instructor-to-student ratio, and are for ages 7 and up at 5th Street. Programs cover paddling, standing up, wave selection, ocean safety, and etiquette.
