How Long Does a Whitewater Rafting Trip Take?

A half-day commercial trip is often two to four hours at the outfitter, with about one to three hours on the water. A full day can run six to eight hours including check-in, shuttle, lunch, and takeout. The rapid you remember is minutes. The visit is not.
