Paragliding Gift Certificates

A paragliding gift only works if the recipient can meet that operator’s age and weight rules, reach the launch, and use the certificate before it expires. Buy from the operator you want them to fly with. Third-party vouchers often expire unused.

Quick Facts

• Match the gift to a real tandem product on an official site
• Expiration dates are real
• Weather reschedules are common — flexible dates help
• Weight and age rules still apply to the recipient
• Buy certificates from the operator you want them to fly with

Is Tandem Paragliding a Good Gift?

Yes when the person wants to fly, can travel to that site, meets published passenger rules, and has dates that match a season that site actually flies. It is a weaker gift when you are guessing their comfort with heights, inventing travel they will not make, or buying a short-expiry voucher for a far-away launch.

When yes: they asked for it, a nearby reputable operator has a standard scenic tandem, and rules/expiry are clear. When no: surprise acro packages for a nervous flyer, cross-country certificates with tight expiry, or ignoring weight/age limits.

If you are unsure, pick a reputable nearby operator and a standard scenic tandem — not an acro package.

Beginner Mistakes

• Buying a certificate for a site across the country with a short expiry
• Ignoring weight limits
• Gifting hang gliding when they asked for paragliding
