What to Wear Ziplining
Last Updated: September 2026
Wear clothes you can put a harness over and shoes that will not fall off mid-span. The operator issues helmet and harness. You bring the layer underneath.
Quick Facts
- Closed-toe shoes with a heel — almost always required
- Athletic clothes
- Hair tied back
- No loose scarves or dangling jewelry
- Weather layer for the platform, not a fashion layer
Can I Wear Shorts?
Usually yes. Harnesses sit on thighs. Short-shorts can ride. Knee-length is safer.
Can I Wear Jeans?
Yes. Denim is allowed on most tours. It gets heavy and stiff if you get wet, and it can restrict a high step onto a platform more than athletic pants. Fine for a dry short course.
Can I Wear Sandals or Crocs?
Typically no. Platforms and stairs are not flip-flop terrain. If the official website does not list them, bring sneakers.
What Not to Wear
- Flip-flops and slides
- Dresses that will not cover a harness
- Dangling earrings
- A hat that will fly
- White clothes you care about
FAQ
**Do they provide a jacket?** Usually no.
